A random selection from The Gutenberg Projecct for the UU3A book group. A cracking yarn written to rival Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories and my view markedly better. Precursor in some respects to Dan Browne's stuff too. The arch villain Arseme Lupin is more complex and sympathetic than Moriarty. Left me wanting to know what happened next.
